T-T-Typhoon

Today I, and my glamorous assistant went and did something terribly bloke-y and nerd-ish and made a trip, or perhaps pilgrimage to see the RAF's newest addition in the shape of the Typhoon F1.

I was very, very impressed - it has been many years since I've been to an Airshow but back in my time I've probably seen most of the worlds current generation of fighters put on a show but I've not seen anything quite so manoeverable or with quite such a capability for high angle-of-attack flight. Quite incredible.

Other highlights were the Battle Of Britain Memorial Flight and the Army Blue Eagles display teams. It was also very interesting to see a Puma in flight for the first time. All in all a good weekend.
