WorkWorkWorkWorkWorkWork

Well, things have at least changed - albeit not wholly for the "better" after a fairly excessively traumatic weekend a couple of weeks ago I was phoned up by a temp agency and offered a job at a currency brokers in Windsor, the original plan was for me to be doing some general admin support (filling in spreadsheets, posting confirmations and that sort of thing) for a little team that took credit/debit card payments over the telephone on behalf of various clients (mostly companies that sell property &c. overseas).

The company was introducing a new computer system the week after I started so no-one really had the time to show me what was what (and anything i learned would be fairly comprehensively out of date by the next week anyhow) so I pretty much pootled along for a week and half doing odds and sods and was then shifted to a whole different department dealing with corporate clients which is rather more to my taste.

Since its only temping I've done my best to keep in the Theatre's good books, as a result of this
I am working a combined total of about 60 hours a week. As a result of the trauma alluded to above I'm not really going out and haven't had a drink in a few weeks so its all just about survivable.

Other than this? I'm eating pretty badly (not being in the house much i'm tending to attack the fast food joints with my customary gusto) and not sorting things out with the alacrity that i should. I dare say it'll work out.....
